Skills is a Race!
Просмотров 5174 часа назад
When it comes to skills, it’s a race. Get MORE! - This is not to be confused with game situations and reads which can be more tedious and more rep based. - Skill enhancement is about giving your body more to use in the game. Our checklist approach does just that. As you go through the list, you’ll have more skills, tools and abilities to use in game situations and gameplay.

Player movements can be taught. - I’ve often heard people say that “elite players just have it” - That these types of things can’t be taught or learned. - Sounds like excuses to me. (Kobe voice) - When you study elite players and see the same trend over and over and over again…when they all seem to possess the same technique…then that technique needs to be taught. - Whether they know they do it...

LOVE it
Excellent points
I have the gray cones where do I get the suction cup???
Always got this in check cause when doing it alone when I think got it right, I just record myself to see what’s wrong
Questo dialogo è un faro di speranza, che dimostra il potenziale di comprensione e unità.😛
Good job coach
Where can I buy that step board? Thank you very much of your video. It helps me a lot..
Very nice... Thank you very much...
It’s a travel you and kyrie are lifting your pivot foot. Works in nba but not overseas refs call this on everyone overseas
I didn’t lift mine. Just pivoted on the heel.
@@ImPossibleTraining what I’m saying though is watch your left foot (pivot) you pick up your left foot before the ball hits the ground. Won’t they call this? Or is there a technicality that I’m missing? because Kyrie, Kobe, Jordan all use this move even Allen Iverson and they would get away with it, but when I’ve done it in leagues I’ve gotten for it, but I do the same exact thing with the timing. I don’t know would like to hear your input.
@@blackout2430absolutely not a travel. Not even close
@@Joeburton83what kyrie did is a travel. His left foot is the pivot foot and he lifts it before the ball hits the floor. Open your eyes and watch the kyrie clip again.
@@blackout2430what rules of basketball do you play that’s not a travel
Traveling
What's special about this move is that most people doing cross over by pushing on the backfoot, but this move pushes on the backfoot and then front foot by moving the front foot back slightly. If you try it agains a cone, you will notice it covers so much ground compared to the traditional cross over. Thank you Micah for sharing this!!
song?
True that
everybody just making up names for every move 😂
Nah he showed Celtics kyrie after what happened yesterday????
advice, dont show kyrie doing it and then u ,
He was one of his trainers lol
@@blackout2430 Doesn't mean he taught Kai that
@@blackout2430 and like his favorite trainer outside of training with Kobe at that too 🔥 Micah probably showcases Kyrie the most in terms of what he teaches about the skill nuances of the game
He did good. I wonder if Kyrie Irving could do it.
Literally the first three you showed were all travels The move is great but maybe find better clips? Before someone says they aren’t, watch the pivot foot shift before the ball is out of the hand
Travel on the rip move anyway lol
Big time. Was not even close
Ja Morant is crazy bro
More like Jud Buecheler 😂😂😂
I’m at your camp
I watched this at 25 as a HS dropout without a job. Just started my PhD and felt like giving a big SO to whoever made the video. I’m probably the dumbest guy in any room I walk into, but you have made me able to outwork anyone. Thank you for giving me the tools to get a great life. I’ll have my PhD before I’m 40
Its legal because the ball is still spinning
💯🔥real talk
I love using this and teaching players to do this because it creates the same illusion as the Pinoy Step.
ima seeing this 2024
Never played college because I was robbed. I’m 33 I’ve played and trained with nba players and pros all over but I still haven’t gotten a contract yet. I needed the encouragement to keep going. I have a gift that WILL be seen
doesnt matter what a coach or trainer thinks.... the refs call it a travel
Not a single lie told. It's crazy that just being a player who looks for a midrange jumpshot after the primary defender closes out hard and the help defender starts to rotate labels you an "old-school player". It's really just finding space and getting to your spots and for the most player, the most effective amount of space is in the midrange area.
W coach
Where did part 2 go????
You’re a great coach, nice inspiration. “You are capable of more than you think possible.” Run it 😎🏀✌️
Still got it. The unprecedented, 2020 pivot, to online 🤙🏼😂lol. Thanks for keeping these up ⬆️
Mann your videos are great! Keep up the good work
Your jumpshot look like zach lavine
PG is way better on that
That ankle is begging to snap
Or, a double cross ligament tear, hurts like hell... Feels like Like 1k broken glass splinters.
People in the comments don’t understand. The video is showing Kyrie’s footwork; not him traveling or carrying
That's all basketball content on the internet in general. 7 billion online officials ready to blow their whistle 😂
But i thought you can make any number of steps as long as the dribble is still live
Travel %100. No other name for it.
But I thought you can make any number of steps as long as the dribble is still alive
No it’s not do you even play basketball
Don't have to play basketball to know the rules. 🤣🤣🤣
Can’t travel if you haven’t picked up the ball retard
@@seanhenderson1486 you don’t know the rules tho
He carried it 4 times. I cant blame you for thinking this is some kind of strategy. The NBA has been absolute garbage since Lebron came into the league. You obviously werent old enough to see what real basketball was.
You're beyond help if you think there was a carry. You can't conceptualize what a carry is. Tbh your understanding of physics in general is flawed to an impressive degree
@@user-jx8uv4uq8f Wow, look at the big brain on Brad! You got me buddy, you got me big time! Man this internet stuff is tough. So many smart people. Thank you for exposing me. I'm reconsidering everything now. 🤡
I cant believe people are still debating stuff like this. It feels like some of those guys are like 15 years behind where actual basketball skills and strength training are at. 😂
Isn’t it a travel
Dribble is still live
A travel nowadays requires a passport and ticket before being called a travel.
@@tocooh6838 That's no where close to a travel though. You can take as many steps that you can with a live dribble. That's been in the rule book for ages.
@viclavar9298i think he meant that he saw the hand go under the ball or atleast the bottom half of it not actually the travel that u pick up or end the live dribble and take more than 2 steps one
Filthy
Who’s this? 🤔
ever heard of a zero step, which is legal. stupid
1:39 - 2:00 inverted skip, inverted hip swivel 3:56
No limit as long as you don’t palm or carry. Imagine a stutter step be used with this dribble
I’m pretty sure you can take as many steps as you want between dribbles just as long as you don’t palm or carry the ball.
Exactly
I mean, it looked like he did carry though
